Hike for Hunger with RRPD and US Army | November 3, 2018

Round Rock Police Department will once again team up with the U.S. Army to sponsor the 2018 Hike for Hunger Food Drive benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center at 10:00 am on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018. Participants will hike 2 miles from the U.S. Army Round Rock Recruiting Center to the Round Rock Area Serving Center carrying rucksacks filled with food. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside the men and women of the Police Department and U.S. Army. A free shuttle will bring hikers back to the Recruiting Center.

The Round Rock Serving Center serves low-income people and families in crisis situations through a food distribution program. Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected during a Fill the Cop Car event on Saturday, Oct. 27 at HEB grocery stores throughout the City.
