It’s Rockin’ Kids Club at Round Rock Public Library with the University of Texas Computer Science Roadshow on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Join in a hands-on, fun introduction to computer science featuring UT students.
We’ll be learning to code. This activity is for elementary students. Kindergartners and first graders may find this activity less frustrating if their trusted adult is willing to learn alongside them; don’t worry, grown-ups, the UT students make coding easy to learn.
PLEASE NOTE: The library has a few tablets and Chromebooks to share; if you have a tablet or laptop you can bring to use at the program, you’ll free up devices for the kids who cannot bring their own. We’d like for as many children to be able to participate as possible.
Everyone can use the Library’s free WiFi.
Every Monday afternoon the library hosts a rotating schedule of STEAM activities. Join the fun at 4:30 p.m.
- 1st Monday: Lego Free-Build
- 2nd Monday: Art Club
- 3rd Monday: Science Club
