The Williamson Country Animal Shelter is sponsoring two fun events on Sunday, April 30, 2016. The Woof Walk & Wrun 5k & the Cat Nap Challenge will take place at Berry Springs Park in Georgetown from 8:30 am until 11:30 am.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter invites you to our annual Woof Walk & Wrun 5K and Cat Nap Challenge. This year, supporters will be able to walk, run, or sleep in to help animals in need! These events raise funds for the urgent outside veterinary care needed by the sick and injured dogs and cats brought to our shelter.
For the past five years, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) has been a no-kill shelter, striving to save every healthy and treatable companion animal who enters our facility. Last year, WCRAS served almost seven thousand lost and abandoned animals and spent over $50,000 treating and healing the injured. As a government facility, we are not funded to provide this extraordinary and lifesaving care and treatment. We rely solely on the donations to our Medical Fund, provided by supporters like you.
