The American Legion Hunter-Morris Memorial Post 911 is Hosting a black tie gala on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at The Sheraton Georgetown in efforts to bring the first Gold Star Families Monument to Central Texas.
American Legion Hunter-Morris Memorial Post 911 Black Tie Gala
This fundraiser is to honor those gold star families and encourage community fellowship. The honored guest will be Hershel Woody Williams, founder of the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument and oldest living WWII veteran. One of the goals of this event is to bring together all of the Central Texas communities together to make this monument a reality. Once completed, the monument will not only honor those Central Texans who have lost a family member while they proudly served in our Nation’s Military Forces, but also as a reminder of what the entire Central Texas community is capable of when we all work together. We have been reaching out to the Central Texas city councils, businesses, organizations and chambers, one by one for support and to help in spreading the news. If  you would be willing to spread word of this event and it’s cause ( and ask those to whom you send it to spread the word too), it would truly be a blessing and a huge step in reach more Central Texans. We are still in need of Sponsors, the Presenting Sponsor (which offers some great marketing benefits) is still available among other types of sponsorships, and we are still accepting items generously donated for the live/silent auction. I have attached the sponsor levels, invitation and press release for you review. We would be more than happy to list you all as a contributing sponsor for any advertising you are able to donate. We are truly grateful for your consideration and participation
