In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. DESCRIPTION:Support the Round Rock Public Library‘s Seed Library by helping clean\, sort and husk donated seeds\, and meet your fellow gardeners\, too! The Seed Savers meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. and the 4th Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m.\, Meeting Rooms\, First Floor. We welcome volunteers of all ages. Families are encouraged to work together to help support this service. \nThe Seed Library is located on the 1st floor of the Round Rock Public Library – in the Business Center (behind the Circulation Desk). The Seed Library is a unique collection of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds. Any Round Rock citizen can borrow and donate seeds! Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes\, even cell phone cameras! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPixel Panorama\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center. DESCRIPTION:This exhibit merging nature and technology will be installed January 7\, 2025 into the Round Rock City Council Chambers Gallery\, including a few pieces in City Hall lobby. \nArtist’s Statement: I have been a representational artist most of my adult life\, although my paintings usually exhibited a conceptual element\, also. In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. She now resides in Round Rock. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery is a municipal art gallery in the heart of Downtown Round Rock\, and it is managed by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture. Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. DESCRIPTION:This exhibit merging nature and technology will be installed January 7\, 2025 into the Round Rock City Council Chambers Gallery\, including a few pieces in City Hall lobby. \nArtist’s Statement: I have been a representational artist most of my adult life\, although my paintings usually exhibited a conceptual element\, also. In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. She now resides in Round Rock. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery is a municipal art gallery in the heart of Downtown Round Rock\, and it is managed by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture. The gallery is located in the Round Rock City Council Chambers at City Hall\, 221 East Main Street.  It is free and open to the public for access during regular business hours. DESCRIPTION:We’re focusing on the art of photography in the City Arts Center in multiple ways! We have two exhibits\, one gracing walls\, panels\, and pedestals\, and another that you can take a seat and view on a large display screen. But wait\, there’s more! Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes\, even cell phone cameras! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPixel Panorama\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center.
