DESCRIPTION:On September 6th\, the Friday before 9/11\, The Texas Fallen Project\, Inc. will begin placing 4\,000 12″ x 14″ American Flags out at the new Flag Plaza at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park to honor those who have gone on before us. There will be 2996 flags\, one for each of the American lives that were lost on 9/11. The remaining 1004 flags will represent Texans we have lost since 9/11. Yonders Point is located at 3101 Aten Loop.Starting Friday evening the 6th through the week of 9/11\, the entire community is invited to come out to view and reflect on all the lives this country has given in the name of Freedom. DESCRIPTION:On September 6th\, the Friday before 9/11\, The Texas Fallen Project\, Inc. will begin placing 4\,000 12″ x 14″ American Flags out at the new Flag Plaza at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park to honor those who have gone on before us. There will be 2996 flags\, one for each of the American lives that were lost on 9/11. The remaining 1004 flags will represent Texans we have lost since 9/11. Yonders Point is located at 3101 Aten Loop.Starting Friday evening the 6th through the week of 9/11\, the entire community is invited to come out to view and reflect on all the lives this country has given in the name of Freedom. DESCRIPTION:The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department presents the 12th annual Family Campout on Friday\, Sept. 13th through Saturday\, Sept. 14th at Old Settlers Park. \nCome spend the night in Old Settlers Park! You’ll pop your tent in the park\, eat dinner\, have fun\, play games\, sit around the campfire eating s’mores\, watch a movie in the park\, and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. \n\nRegistration:\nEarly Registration – $10 per person \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER\nRegistration for the campout is required. Registration fee will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (dinner on Friday evening and pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning\, vegetarian option available if requested by 9/8)\, s’mores and a t-shirt. \n\nWhat to Bring:\nParticipants are responsible providing all of their own camping equipment\, as well as setup and take down of tents. \nWe recommend bringing: \n\nTent (participants are responsible for setup & take down of tents)\nSleeping bags\nFlashlight\nReusable water bottle (water coolers will be available to fill bottles)\nInsect repellent\nSnacks and drinks (No alcohol or glass containers)\nA chair or blanket for campfire and movie\n\nNo pets allowed.
