But they’re a vital part of our natural world\, and we’d notice if they disappeared. Join Christie Gardner to learn all about bats\, and especially why we can’t live without them. \nAbout the presenter \nChristie Gardner is a retired elementary school teacher with a passion for bats and bluebirds. She has been a Master Naturalist in the Good Water Chapter in Williamson County for over 10 years. She has been a member of Bat Conservation International for over 30 years. She was trained by BCI as a bat interpreter and talked to crowds at Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin and at McNeil Bridge in Round Rock for many years. She once turned her 3rd grade classroom into a bat cave!
