DESCRIPTION:Accept the ultimate donut challenge and join us for the 7th Annual Round Rock Donut Dash 5K on Saturday\, May 10th\, 2025. Warm up for the race at 6:45am at the starting line to get ready for a whirlwind of fun. Race starts at PRETE PLAZA at 7:00AM (No LATE start past 7:05am). In this unique event you’ll refuel with a mid-point pit stop for a donut (or a dozen!) from your favorite local donut shop. Join us for the post race after party at the finish line located at the Water Tower Park in Downtown Round Rock! \nRegister for the Challenger Division and put yourself to the ultimate test! Run half a 5k\, eat a dozen donuts\, and finish the run\, all under one hour to complete the challenge!  We also will have a Casual Division for those who want to run the race and eat their donuts on their own time and a ZERO K Division for those who just want to eat donuts and cheer the racers on.

Join us on Sunday\, May 4th\, May 11th\, and May 18th from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A & B. \nBreathing is not just a basic human function—it is the function of life itself. It sustains us\, connects our body and mind\, and is a powerful tool for improving our health and well-being. Although we breathe unconsciously\, many of us do not breathe optimally\, which can lead to various physical and mental health issues. Poor oxygenation of the body can lead to fatigue\, muscle tension\, and weakened immunity. Shallow breathing can increase stress\, anxiety\, and difficulty concentrating. Irregular breathing patterns can exacerbate feelings of anger\, frustration\, or sadness. Athletes\, singers\, and public speakers may underperform due to inadequate breath control. DESCRIPTION:As a sixth-generation Texan\, Randy and his family have been a part of the Old Settlers Association since its origination in 1904. Randy will bring the history of the Old Settlers Association alive for this history program\, highlighting the educational impact it had on Williamson County from its beginning to today. \nPresented by Randy Michna\, OSA Grounds Manager and Caretaker \nThe Old Settlers Association of Williamson County was organized for the sole purpose of gathering fragments of history and to perpetuate them for future generations. The OSA proudly holds years of history on its property located at 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd. They offer educational programs to children throughout the year. The grounds are open daily for the public to see and enjoy a step back in history.

DESCRIPTION:Support the Round Rock Public Library‘s Seed Library by helping clean\, sort and husk donated seeds\, and meet your fellow gardeners\, too! The Seed Savers meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. and the 4th Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m.\, Meeting Rooms\, First Floor. We welcome volunteers of all ages. Families are encouraged to work together to help support this service. \nThe Seed Library is located on the 1st floor of the Round Rock Public Library – in the Business Center (behind the Circulation Desk). The Seed Library is a unique collection of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds. Any Round Rock citizen can borrow and donate seeds! It sustains us\, connects our body and mind\, and is a powerful tool for improving our health and well-being. Although we breathe unconsciously\, many of us do not breathe optimally\, which can lead to various physical and mental health issues. Poor oxygenation of the body can lead to fatigue\, muscle tension\, and weakened immunity. Shallow breathing can increase stress\, anxiety\, and difficulty concentrating. Irregular breathing patterns can exacerbate feelings of anger\, frustration\, or sadness. Athletes\, singers\, and public speakers may underperform due to inadequate breath control. Bring the entire family and enjoy fun themed activities on select Friday nights from May through August. \nYonders Point\, located just southwest of the baseball fields in Old Settlers Park\, is a place where families can picnic and enjoy an amazing view of Bright Lake. The plaza includes landscaping and trees\, pergolas with swings\, terraced seating and lounges. \nThe City built Yonders Point with the intent to create a beautiful space for reflection and passive recreation\, distinct from the active recreation currently offered at Old Settlers Park. Yonders Point can be found on the north side of Old Settlers Park. \nEach “Friday Fun Night” will feature FREE fun activities for the entire family!
