DESCRIPTION:We’re focusing on the art of photography in the City Arts Center in multiple ways! We have two exhibits\, one gracing walls\, panels\, and pedestals\, and another that you can take a seat and view on a large display screen. But wait\, there’s more! Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes\, even cell phone cameras! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPixel Panorama\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center. DESCRIPTION:The Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival returns for its 5th year on Saturday\, Feb. 22\, 2025!!  This is a ticketed fundraising event supporting Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County and our mission to provide affordable housing to individuals and families in need.  The festival features beers from craft brewers from all over Central Texas\, along with live music\, silent auction\, games\, food trucks and more! \nFestival participants receive beer sampling tickets to be exchanged for 3oz pours from attending breweries.  Additional sampling tickets will be available for purchase at the festival. \nThe Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival is a 21+ event. Ticket sales & festival entry is limited to ages 21 and over; identification will be verified (no children or pets). \n*Each sample ticket is redeemable for a 3-ounce pour. By understanding the relationship between the ANS and fatigue\, we can implement effective strategies for recovery. This course will help you identify your body’s signs and symptoms of fatigue\, evaluate your level of fatigue\, and make informed decisions about managing your energy levels. \nAbout the presenter: Dr. Xia Zeng is a faculty member at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College-Berkeley\, Austin Branch. She is also a licensed physical therapist and serves as a clinical instructor at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Dr. Zeng specializes in treating patients with chronic pain\, migraine headaches\, pelvic floor dysfunction\, prenatal and postpartum impairments\, as well as a wide range of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. She is the founder of ZENg Life Cultivation Center\, where she offers Qigong and Tai Chi classes to the public\, promoting holistic well-being through movement and mindfulness.

DESCRIPTION:This exhibit merging nature and technology will be installed January 7\, 2025 into the Round Rock City Council Chambers Gallery\, including a few pieces in City Hall lobby. \nArtist’s Statement: I have been a representational artist most of my adult life\, although my paintings usually exhibited a conceptual element\, also. In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. She now resides in Round Rock. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery is a municipal art gallery in the heart of Downtown Round Rock\, and it is managed by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture. The gallery is located in the Round Rock City Council Chambers at City Hall\, 221 East Main Street.  It is free and open to the public for access during regular business hours. SUMMARY:The Art of Linda Murray
DESCRIPTION:This exhibit merging nature and technology will be installed January 7\, 2025 into the Round Rock City Council Chambers Gallery\, including a few pieces in City Hall lobby. \nArtist’s Statement: I have been a representational artist most of my adult life\, although my paintings usually exhibited a conceptual element\, also. In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. She now resides in Round Rock. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery is a municipal art gallery in the heart of Downtown Round Rock\, and it is managed by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture. The gallery is located in the Round Rock City Council Chambers at City Hall\, 221 East Main Street.  It is free and open to the public for access during regular business hours. Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes\, even cell phone cameras! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPixel Panorama\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center. DESCRIPTION:The Round Rock Police Department\, in partnership with the Texas Municipal Police Association and the Round Rock Express\, will be hosting its second annual Sports Capital of Texas Motorcycle Rodeo from February 27 to March 1\, 2025\, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. \n\nThe Sports Capital of Texas Motorcycle Rodeo is a skills competition where law enforcement motor officers from across the country will compete in various speed and precision courses in hopes of being crowned “Mr. Rodeo.” \nThis event is FREE to the public\, and spectators are encouraged to attend. DESCRIPTION:We’re focusing on the art of photography in the City Arts Center in multiple ways! We have two exhibits\, one gracing walls\, panels\, and pedestals\, and another that you can take a seat and view on a large display screen. But wait\, there’s more! Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too. \n\n\nHours\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.\nSaturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbuggin’\nThe art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel\, fashion\, mixed media\, and beyond)\, made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes\, even cell phone cameras! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPixel Panorama\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center. SUMMARY:The Art of Linda Murray
DESCRIPTION:This exhibit merging nature and technology will be installed January 7\, 2025 into the Round Rock City Council Chambers Gallery\, including a few pieces in City Hall lobby. \nArtist’s Statement: I have been a representational artist most of my adult life\, although my paintings usually exhibited a conceptual element\, also. In the last few years\, I have found myself pulled toward more abstraction\, but the work continues to keep that seed of a conceptual element. \nArtist’s Bio: Murray grew up in Rotan\, Tx\, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She was a long-time member of the Artists League of Texas\, which became the Center for Contemporary Arts when she lived in Abilene and then Buffalo Gap. She now resides in Round Rock. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Round Rock City Council Chamber Gallery is a municipal art gallery in the heart of Downtown Round Rock\, and it is managed by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture. The gallery is located in the Round Rock City Council Chambers at City Hall\, 221 East Main Street.  It is free and open to the public for access during regular business hours.
