DESCRIPTION:A global celebration of the opening and tasting of the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau! \nWe’ll get the ball rolling by uncorking this unfussy French wine under the twinkling stars of Downtown Round Rock at our live jazz soirée. \nThis is an all-adult party for 21 years and up. \nThis is a free wine festival on Main Street in Downtown Round Rock and no ticket is required! \nHow to Attend: Please register at the entrance tents along the 200 block of East Main Street when you arrive to receive your Beaujolais Bracelet to enjoy all the free festivities (scroll down for complete list)! You must be 21+ to be at this festival. The plaza includes landscaping and trees\, pergolas with swings\, terraced seating and lounges. \nThe City built Yonders Point with the intent to create a beautiful space for reflection and passive recreation\, distinct from the active recreation currently offered at Old Settlers Park. Yonders Point can be found on the north side of Old Settlers Park\, which is located at 3103 Aten Loop. \nEach “Friday Fun Night” will feature FREE fun activities for the entire family! DESCRIPTION:The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department presents the 12th annual Family Campout on Friday\, Sept. 13th through Saturday\, Sept. 14th at Old Settlers Park. \nCome spend the night in Old Settlers Park! You’ll pop your tent in the park\, eat dinner\, have fun\, play games\, sit around the campfire eating s’mores\, watch a movie in the park\, and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. \n\nRegistration:\nEarly Registration – $10 per person \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER\nRegistration for the campout is required. Registration fee will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (dinner on Friday evening and pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning\, vegetarian option available if requested by 9/8)\, s’mores and a t-shirt. \n\nWhat to Bring:\nParticipants are responsible providing all of their own camping equipment\, as well as setup and take down of tents. \nWe recommend bringing: \n\nTent (participants are responsible for setup & take down of tents)\nSleeping bags\nFlashlight\nReusable water bottle (water coolers will be available to fill bottles)\nInsect repellent\nSnacks and drinks (No alcohol or glass containers)\nA chair or blanket for campfire and movie\n\nNo pets allowed. No electricity available. No shower facilities. Personal campfires are not allowed.
