RRISD Healthy Teen Relationships Seminar | September 10, 2018
Round Rock ISD’s Counseling Services Department is hosting a Healthy Teen Relationships Seminar on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the Administration Building at 1311 Round Rock Ave, Round Rock, TX 78681.
SPEAKER: Randy Randolph with Safe Place’s Expect Respect Program
This interactive session will explore how to make romantic relationships work by looking at the types of power dynamics that create hurtful versus loving relationships; the problematic behaviors to pay attention to when you are getting to know someone and how to end a relationship respectfully and move on safely.
“The topics selected for the F.Y.I. Seminar Series were identified in a survey by parents of high school students as subject matters they wanted to know more about,”
Dr. Christina Wiswell, director of counseling services, said. “The sessions are open to everyone in the community, but are most appropriate for high school students and parents of high school students.”
The F.Y.I. Seminar Series is brought to the community by Round Rock ISD counseling services. The series is designed to inform the community about timely health and well-being topics affecting today’s high school students.
