New Ownership at Round the Rock

*** ANNOUNCEMENT ***

Today, I am very pleased to announce that the ownership and editorial responsibilities for Round the Rock are going to be taking a new shape. As you may know, my family owns and runs Monster Mini Golf.  We have decided to expand and open another location and that has been taking up the majority of my time. In order to keep Round the Rock an important and vital resource for all things Round Rock, we are selling Round the Rock to Stephanie Tyler of Round Rock! We have only had the pleasure of owning this blog for two years, but the time has come to hand it off to someone who can take it in a fresh direction and Stephanie is just the right person to do that.

Since graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Stephanie has had a career that has spanned sales, marketing, operations, and volunteering. She is currently President of the Board for the FIRE Foundation, an educational organization that aims to redefine and reimagine education. She is involved with the Round Rock Chamber and sits on their Entrepreneurship Council. Stephanie is looking forward to getting involved with Round the Rock and building up its presence in the community she loves.

On a personal note, I just want to say that it has been my honor to serve in this role and be part of this great community for the last two years. My husband and I chose Round Rock as the place we wanted to live, raise our boys, start a business, and build our lives. This wonderful community has never let us down nor made us regret selecting Round Rock as our home.

We congratulate Stephanie and cannot wait to watch Round the Rock under her ownership!

Most Sincerely,

Amy Smith

    Stephanie Tyler,

Hi, this is Judy Anderson, President of Round Rock Preservation. We are excited to have a Grand Re-opening of the Historic Round Rock Stagecoach Inn on October 19, 2024 from 10:00 – 12:00 noon, at the site of the Inn, 750 Chisholm Trail.

I have posted Preservation events in the past on Round the Rock, and attempted to post our notice for this event, but was unsuccessful. What process should I follow?

Thank you so much for your attention.
    Judy
