Round Rock ISD Parent Seminar: Stress, Anxiety & Depression | January 13, 2020
Round Rock ISD is hosting a parent seminar entitled Stress, Anxiety & Depression on January 13, 2020. The session will be held at the Old Hopewell Meeting Room, immediately adjacent to the Round Rock ISD Lillie Delgado Administration Building located at 1311 Round Rock Ave. Round Rock, TX from 6 to 7 p.m.
Self-care, active listening, stress management, and coping skills for processing anxiety effectively will be discussed. Also suicide prevention, as these topics often overlap.
SPEAKER: R. Renee Cameron-Hernandez M.A., LPC, LMFT, NCC, TBRIR Educator, is the Director of Program Training with STARRY.
The FYI series was developed by Round Rock ISD counseling services to inform the community about timely health and well-being topics affecting today’s high school students.
A survey, taken by high school students and their parents, identified the selected topics as important subject-matters.
