Friday, May 21: Park Grand Opening

Join Mayor Craig Morgan, City Council and YOUR Parks & Rec Team for the Grand Opening and Sunset Viewing Party at the NEW Yonders Point in Old Settlers Park Friday, May 21 at 6 p.m.  Come and enjoy a ribbon cutting, music, free swag items, a Movie in the Park, and more! Yonders Point features a relaxing retreat where families can picnic and enjoy an amazing view of Bright Lake and includes artwork, trees, landscaping, pergolas with swings, terraced seating and lounges. The entire community is invited to come and celebrate this amazing NEW development! Old Settlers Park, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd. Round Rock.

Free outdoor concert series by the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra. Bring lawn chairs/blankets and a picnic. Kid-friendly! 7:30 p.m. at Elizabeth Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd, Cedar Park.

Saturday, May 22: Gecko World Austin Reptile Expo

HERPS Exotic Reptile and Pet Shows at the Rock Sports Arena, 3918 Gattis School Rd #102, Round Rock, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. More info here. Largest reptile and exotic pet show in Central Texas! Thousands of reptiles, amphibians, inverts, feeders, small mammals, supplies, and more all for sale at discounted prices directly to the public! This show is HOT! Venomous and large constrictors will also be on sale and on display. Concessions on hand as well, so make an entire weekend out of it!
