Round Rock ISD is hosting their 19th Annual Festival of Bands on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex.
Open to the public. Band members from across Round Rock ISD will gather October 1 for the District’s 19th Annual Festival of Bands.
The event, held at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, 10211 W Parmer Ln, Austin, will begin at 7 p.m. The Festival of Bands is an opportunity to showcase the nationally recognized instrumental music programs in Round Rock ISD. From elementary music to high school marching band, this serves as a great opportunity for community engagement in world class musical achievement.Marching bands and auxiliaries from Cedar Ridge, McNeil, Round Rock, Stony Point, and Westwood high schools will perform marching performances and lead middle school students in group performances. Each high school marching band will perform an exhibition music piece with middle schools in its respective feeder pattern.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students online. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students at the event. Children five years old and younger will be admitted for free.
The grand finale will be performed by the The Texas State Bobcat Band.
