Round Rock’s Irish Pub Marks its Birthday with a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

WHAT: Cork & Barrel is hosting its fourth annual St. Paddy’s Day Birthday Bash in celebration of its third birthday on Sunday, March 17! The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., extending the St. Paddy’s Day Birthday Bash an extra hour with an early start this year.
Kicking off the celebration, Executive Chef Rob Snow has prepared a specialty menu with favorites fitting for any Irish celebration including Shepherd’s Pie, Kenney Fort Bangers & Mash and more! Throughout the pub grounds will be satellite bars serving additional food options including the Bluebonnet Tent with menu items like Bangers & Kraut on a hoagie and a Kid’s Hot Dog, and and the Bushmills Pub Tent will have a Cork Reuben Hoagie, Fish & Chips and more.
It wouldn’t be a traditional Irish event without an extensive drink menu. At this year’s bash, there will be a wide range of drinks to enjoy including Irish Whiskey Tastings from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., a specialty cocktail menu with Irish-themed drinks like a signature Shimmering Emerald, Shamrock Shots, Iced Irish Coffee and, of course, green beer.
In true Cork & Barrel fashion, there will be live entertainment from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. Irish dancers will kick off the afternoon with a performance, followed by live music acts such as Northern Irish mandolin and banjo player Daithi Arwine and more. There will also be various giveaways with fun prizes throughout the St. Paddy’s Day Bash.
The event welcomes all and is free to attend, with entry granted on a first-come, first-served basis – so it’s encouraged to arrive early! Guests can enjoy open seating options both indoors, on the patio and within the beer garden. As always, the beer garden is dog-friendly, but the team kindly asks that dogs remain leashed throughout the event.
Guests can park in the Dell Diamond east parking lot to take advantage of a free shuttle service to and from Cork & Barrel during the event.
