COVER 3 School Supply Drive | August 1-11, 2018
COVER 3 is hosting a special back-to-school supply drive beginning Wednesday, August 1 and running through Saturday, August 11, benefitting The Rainbow Room, a core program for local nonprofit Partnerships for Children (PFC).
Partnerships For Children is a local nonprofit that provides critical resources to abused and neglected children in Central Texas who are in the care of Child Protective Services, and The Rainbow Room is the nonprofit’s 24/7-resource center where caseworkers can gather essential items for children who are in crisis. All donations can be dropped off at any Austin-area COVER 3 or COVER 2 restaurant.
Additionally, COVER 3’s Downtown location will play host to a car wash on Saturday, August 11 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in support of PFC’s Teen4Teens program, which is a program designed to inspire teenagers to become volunteers and philanthropists while educating them on the needs of their peers in foster care. 100% of proceeds from the car wash will then be used to purchase school supplies for The Rainbow Room.
