CRHS Theatre Booster Club hosts Annual Zombie Run 5K | September 16, 2017
The Cedar Ridge High School Theatre Booster Club is hosting their first annual Zombie Run 5k Race on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Registration, packet pick-up and pre-race activities will begin at 4pm, with the first race starting at 5:00pm. This exciting family event will feature our Theatre students in zombie-themed live vignettes along the spooky Brushy Creek Trail. The net proceeds from this event will directly benefit our theatre students by providing meals, prop and costume purchases and Booster Club-provided events throughout the 2017-2018 school year.
NEW this year is our KIDS K 1k race! Children 0-12 will lace up their sneakers and CHASE ZOMBIES! Each Kids K participant will receive a free Kids K T-shirt and FINISHER MEDAL!
The Zombie Run will take place Saturday, September 16. Registration, packet pick-up and pre-race activities will begin at 4pm, with the Kids K race starting at 5pm. 5k Zombie Run will start immediately after the Kids K (approx. 5:30pm). Runners will park, start and finish at Twin Lakes YMCA. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second finishers, male and female, in several age categories. All Kids K participants will receive a Finisher medal!
Bring your family and friends to experience the trail in a brand new way! Please use discretion when registering children – some zombies might be frightening to some children.

- T-shirts guaranteed through August 26. After that, as supplies last.
- Registration and packet pick-up will be available:

- Friday, September 15, 4-7pm
- Race day registration and pre-race activities begin: Saturday, September 16 at 4pm at Twin Lakes YMCA pavilion
- Parking, race start and finish lines are located at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA parking lot.
- Race begins: 5pm (Kids K), approx. 5:30 (5k)
- One water stop will be placed along the route. Refreshments will be provided at the finish line. This is a rain or shine event. Race organizers reserve the right to cancel due to dangerous weather. No refunds will be issued.
