Dell CEO Donates $36 Million to Start Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Announced this morning, Michael and Susan Dell, founder of Round Rock-based Dell Technologies, has donated $36 million dollars to start Rebuild Texas, a Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.  Dell, a native of Houston, has always been a very generous donor of Texas-based charities and organizations.

Of the $36 million committed to the fund, half that amount will be to launch the fund, and a matching campaign will continue through midnight Monday, September 4. During the campaign, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation will match $1 for every $2 in donations for the first $36 million raised.
