Free Vision Screening for Kids at the Library | August 31, 2019
Round Rock Public Library proudly partners with the Round Rock chapter of Lions International to provide free vision screenings for young children 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 in the Computer Lab (next to the library’s large meeting rooms). These screenings are first come, first served. Everyone is welcome.
This event is part of KidSight USA, a nationwide screening program conducted by Round Rock Lions. The program provides critical eye screenings for ages 6 months – 6 years.
Lions involved with KidSight USA want to reach young learners and help identify common vision problems while those problems are more easily reversed, and before those problems interfere with learning.
If a screening suggests a possible vision condition that needs to be addressed, Round Rock Lions will work with families to make certain that professional eye exams and glasses are obtained.
