Greenhouse Craft Food Hosts ‘Lost Draw vs. Altstadt’ Beer & Wine Dinner | August 26, 2018
Greenhouse Craft Food will host a special five-course beer and wine pairing dinner on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 6:30 pm with beers from Altstadt Brewery and wines from Lost Draw Cellars, each hailing from Fredericksburg, TX. Dubbed the ‘Lost Draw vs. Altstadt’ dinner, the one-of-a-kind event will feature an expertly crafted and curated menu created by award-winning team of Greenhouse Craft Food executive chef Rob Snow and chef de cuisine Todd Engel.
The just-revealed menu is as follows:
Course One: Lost Draw Rosé paired w/ Grilled Endive | Rosé vinaigrette, citrus- thyme goat feta, marinated roasted tomatoes, honey-pickled shallot, Fredericksburg peaches, chile pecans
Course Two: Altstadt Märzen (Oktoberfest) paired w/ Korean Duck Fried Rice | bok choy-bacon-chile egg roll, Asian pear sesame sauce
Course Three: Altstadt Alt vs. Lost Draw Kindred (Red Blend) paired w/ Pan-seared Smoked Pork Tenderloin | pancetta, sage, red wine demi and Alt beurre blanc, malted cauliflower purée, red wine-poached chayote, beer-poached pearl onions
Course Four: Altstadt Lager paired w/ Lobster S.O.S. | grilled toast, lobster bisque, chive oil, brandy rouille
Course Five: Lost Draw Picpoul Blanc paired w/ Stuffed Beignet | lemon curd, strawberry-thai basil compote
