The City of Round Rock announces Round Rock Selfie Day – set to begin on Saturday, May 9th, 2015.
Round Rock continues to grow and is one of the fastest growing cities in America. Our ever growing community seems to change right before our eyes. We challenge you to photograph Round Rock. Let’s capture those memories in a “selfie”!
What? A selfie is a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smart-phone or web-cam and shared through social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter…)
Launch of ROUND ROCK SELFIE DAY is Saturday, May 9th.
We want everyone in Round Rock to take selfies about Round Rock! We would like you to take “selfies” in front of Round Rock landmarks, buildings, houses, landscapes or whatever comes to mind! Please keep it clean. We want people to enjoy and take a selfie in their own creative way. We will post them on the City of Round Rock Arts web site at roundrocktexas.gov/residents/arts-culture/.
Three years from now, on May 9, 2018, we will ask you to take the same “selfie” in the exact same location. Did you or Round Rock change?
