Round Rock Symphony presents Opera Highlights Concert | March 25, 2018

The Round Rock Symphony is excited to feature rising opera stars from the Butler Opera Center at the University of Texas on this program of operatic masterpieces on 

Fresh from a follow-up invitation as cover conductor for the New York Philharmonic, Round Rock Symphony’s Music Director and Conductor Stefan Sanders takes the helm for an afternoon of classic opera, featuring four soloists from Butler Opera International: Julia Taylor, Soprano; Ellie Shattles, Mezzo-Soprano; Junsuk Park, Tenor; and Said Pressley, Baritone. This concert by Round Rock Symphony will feature selections from Verdi, Donizetti, Bizet, Rossini, and Bellini.

This March concert from the Round Rock Symphony will be followed by its performance later this spring with award-winning pianist and University of Texas faculty Anton Nel, presenting Beethoven’s “Emperor Concerto” (Piano Concerto No. 5 in E♭ major), Sunday, May 6, 2018, 4:00pm-6:30pm, at the Klett Performing Arts Center.
