Saturday, November 13, 2021: Hike for Hunger with RRPD and US Army
The Round Rock Police Department will once again team up with the U.S. Army to sponsor the 2021 Hike for Hunger Food Drive benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 13. Participants will walk 2 miles from the U.S. Army Round Rock Recruiting Center to the Round Rock Area Serving Center carrying rucksacks filled with food. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside the men and women of the Police Department and U.S. Army.

Tuesday, November 16, 2021: Lunch and Learn
Guest speakers Elroy Haverlah and Frank Darr will present a history of Kenney Fort, the Santa Fe Expedition and the Archives War. Learn about the first Anglo settlement in Williamson County and the part it played in Republic of Texas History. The story of Kenney Fort is also posted in the Historic Round Rock Collection. Attendees are invited to bring a brown bag lunch and Round Rock Preservation will provide a water and a cookie for your enjoyment. More info here.
