Celebrating Photography Exhibit

We’re focusing on the art of photography in the City Arts Center in multiple ways! We have two exhibits, one gracing walls, panels, and pedestals, and another that you can take a seat and view on a large display screen. But wait, there’s more! Take your selfies against the Cyanotype Selfie Wall (artwork by Amy Jasek) and peruse the analog camera display too.
Hours
- Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Shutterbuggin’
The art form of photography is more accessible than ever before what with the ubiquity of cell phone cameras. This exhibit includes an array of different types of photography (including travel, fashion, mixed media, and beyond), made with all types of photographic equipment too. Yes, even cell phone cameras!
Shutterbug: one who takes photographs an avid shutterbug who takes their camera with them everywhere.
Pixel Panorama
Our virtual exhibit is viewable during your visit to the City Arts Center. Grab a chair, watch, and get inspired to use your cell phone, digital camera, film camera, tablet and other gizmos to create your own art!
