From Linda:  “Painting makes me happy and I hope others find the same happiness within my canvases.” “I have always been an artist at heart. Life got in the way and I didn’t have a chance to paint for many years. Now I have time to concentrate on my art. In high school I won my first art contest and from then on I thought this was something I really wanted to do. However, life changed direction. For the next many years I practiced a form of art as a hairdresser. Upon retirement I was finally able to pursue my dream of doing art. I have been blessed with the chance to study with incredible teachers who have pushed me to sharpen my skills in every aspect. My most important lesson I have learned is that ‘practice makes perfect.’ I have come to realize there isn’t any other way to achieve one’s full artistic potential except through hours of hard work. Through all the ups and downs in learning this craft, I have come to the decision that I love every minute of it!”

Linda is active in the Sun City Visual Arts Group and exhibits in Sun City venues, St. David’s Hospital, Baca Center and Williamson County Jester Center. She is also a member of the Baca Center and Williamson County Art Guild.
