All Abilities Support Group at the Library | January – April 2018
The Round Rock Public Library is hosting a support group for those caring for individuals of all abilities ranging from birth to young adult age. This groups meets on the last Sunday of the month from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. This event is free and pre-registration is required.
A support group for those caring for and or raising individuals of all abilities ranging from birth to young adult age. This group will provide a space for anyone that cares for, works with, and is raising individuals of varying abilities to learn about and share community resources, gain tools for advocacy within various systems including, but not limited to public schools, discuss and share self care techniques, socialize, participate in some music making, etc.

The group will be facilitated by Amber C. Sarpy Lora who lives in the Round Rock community. Amber is a certified music therapist, and a mother of child who has epilepsy and autism. She has worked with a wide range of ages, from infants to older adults, in a wide range of settings including educational settings, domestic violence shelters, to places of worship, and within community centers.
