Connecting Round Rock: Dads Who Get It Done – Eisenberg

Meet Bryan Eisenberg

Tell us about your family.
My amazingly compassionate wife, Stacey, and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this August. We have 3 amazing kids. Hannah, who graduated from UT Austin with 2 degrees in 4 years, is currently working in sales enablement for an Austin cybersecurity company. Our resilient Sammy, our 6’5, 260-pound collegiate baseball pitcher, is working on his comeback to the field. Our ambitious Matthew, who just finished his sophomore year at Round Rock High School.

Of course, we can’t forget our wonderful border collie-lab mix, Hero.

What would be your ideal way to spend Father’s Day?
My needs are simple. It doesn’t matter what I do as long as I get to see my kids.

Tell us about your business
We started our home care agency, A Place At Home, last year. Stacey has been in the senior care industry since her mother brought her to work at a nursing home when she was 3 years old. She grew up in that nursing home, had her first paycheck there and has worked with seniors pretty much her whole life. Last year, we were blessed to win the Best of Round Rock Senior Service while supporting Stacey’s dream of putting a smile on the face of seniors every day and caring about our caregivers and their well-being, who put so much into our clients.

What’s your favorite part about your business?
Supporting the seniors in our community, hearing their stories, and knowing we are making a difference for our families.

What is one challenge with your business?
Our business is pretty typical of most home care businesses. We do a lot of work to find the best caregivers with huge hearts and to find the families that need a great caregiver. The struggle is that sometimes we have more caregivers and hours to serve than we have clients, and then we’ll have clients who need more hours than we have caregivers. These seem to be natural growing pains in this industry.

How does your business give back to the community?
We are here to support seniors and families to age in place, wherever their place may be. Stacey is a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, and you will find her monthly at the Round Rock Public Library. She is on the volunteer board for Adult Protective Services, she also serves on the Aging Services Council, and she often goes to senior communities to do activities and fairs.

I am the Ambassador co-chair with the Round Rock Chamber and enjoy mentoring and advising other entrepreneurs. We also work with a local non-profit called ShareTheWill with former 26-year veteran, Will Williams, to get electric wheelchairs and other medical equipment in the hands of veterans or people in need in the community.

We have worked hard at publishing a 100+ page Senior Kare Expert Resource Guide. If you know a senior or a family that is caring for a senior, please let them know about it.

How can Round Rock (and the surrounding areas) support your business?
We have worked hard at publishing a 100+ page Senior Kare Expert Resource Guide. If you know a senior or a family that is caring for a senior, please let them know about it. We want to be a resource for all the seniors and veterans in the community, if we don’t know how to help, we want to help you find that person who can. We also are happy to offer special packages for those who are being discharged from the hospital or rehab and need some help while they transition to being on their own.

Anything else you’d like to share?
Most recently, more people in the community have started to recognize my face and my voice, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Hosting the Rock Solid: Round Rock Leaders podcast has been my way of shining a light on the incredible people driving impact in our city. These are real conversations with local leaders who are building momentum and making Round Rock stronger.

Around the same time, I found myself in the middle of a personal transformation after a major health scare forced me to rethink everything. That journey became the foundation for my new book, I Think I Swallowed An Elephant: The Stories We Sell, The Success We Build. It’s personal, but it’s also deeply professional. The same mindset shifts, clarity, and small, strategic actions that helped me reclaim my health are the exact tools I’ve used for years to help businesses grow. Whether you’re leading a company or leading yourself, the path forward always begins with the story you choose to believe and the next small, intentional step.
