Round Rock Chamber: Young Professionals Social
December 12 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Round Rock Chamber invites young professionals between the ages of 22-40 to attend the Young Professionals Social on December 12 inside of B-Lux located at Kalahari. (Park and enter on the Tom Foolery’s side.) Light apps and a drink ticket are included with your registration. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to Operation Blue Santa (see toy guidelines at the bottom of the page) to receive a complimentary arcade card from our location sponsor, Kalahari Resort. We’ll begin with networking and will then hear from our guest speaker, Ashley Turzinski (Nelson).
Ashley Turzinski (Nelson) oversees the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions corporate catering department, combining her passion for hospitality with strong organizational skills to create unforgettable experiences for Kalahari’s guests.
As the daughter of Kalahari CEO, Todd Nelson and youngest member of the Nelson family, Turzinski grew up in the hospitality space and was given a unique perspective on both the operations and customer service that defines Kalahari Resorts. Born and raised in the Wisconsin Dells, Turzinski’s deep-rooted connection to the industry and her community has helped her family grow the brand from a single location in Wisconsin to five across Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and soon Virginia.
Turzinski thrives in a dynamic and close-knit family environment, bringing a sense of teamwork and creativity to her professional endeavors. Outside of her career, she and husband Caleb are parents to Caleb Jr. and Sullivan. The four love traveling together and outdoor adventures.
The new Round Rock YP Program is designed to build and strengthen the young professional workforce in Round Rock by offering events and programs that revolve around leadership development, educational resources and networking with like-minded individuals.
