What is the mission for the work you do in Round Rock?

Homestead Estate Lawyers exists to help families protect what they’ve built and confidently navigate life’s most difficult transitions.

We proudly serve individuals and families throughout Round Rock and the surrounding communities in Travis, Williamson, and Bell Counties by providing trusted guidance in estate planning, probate, and estate litigation.

Whether we’re helping a young family create their first estate plan, guiding loved ones through the loss of a family member, or resolving complex probate disputes, our mission is to provide clear advice, compassionate support, and practical legal solutions tailored to each family’s needs.

We believe every family deserves knowledgeable legal counsel during life’s most important moments — and the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: the people they love and the future they’re building.

What is your favorite part of the work your team does in Round Rock?

Sometimes heirship matters can be like solving a jigsaw puzzle.
Every family has a story, and in many probate cases, our job is to piece that story together. We may be tracing generations of family history, locating heirs across multiple states or countries, reviewing decades-old records, or helping resolve long-standing family questions.

What I enjoy most is taking what initially feels overwhelming to a family and bringing clarity to it. Watching someone finally understand who the legal heirs are, what the law requires, and what steps come next often brings tremendous relief during an incredibly difficult season.

While no two cases are alike, I genuinely enjoy the challenge of solving complex legal puzzles and helping families move forward with confidence.

What is one challenge your business faces?

One of the greatest challenges we face is that many families wait until a crisis occurs before seeking legal guidance. Too often, people delay estate planning because they believe they have plenty of time or assume it is only necessary for the wealthy. As a result, loved ones are left navigating expensive, time-consuming probate proceedings, family disputes, or avoidable legal complications during an already difficult time.

We’re committed to changing that through education and accessible legal services — helping families plan ahead and offering compassionate guidance when a loss has already occurred to reduce the emotional and financial burdens that accompany unexpected life events.

How does your business support the Round Rock community?

Homestead Estate Lawyers is committed to serving the Round Rock community through education, outreach, and accessible legal guidance. We regularly host free educational seminars and workshops that help individuals and families better understand estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, guardianship, and other important legal topics. Our goal is to empower community members with practical knowledge so they can make informed decisions before a crisis occurs.

In addition to our seminars, we partner with local businesses, real estate professionals, financial advisors, senior organizations, and community groups to provide educational presentations and resources tailored to their audiences.

We believe that informed families are better equipped to protect their loved ones, preserve their assets, and avoid unnecessary legal disputes.

How can Round Rock (and the surrounding area) support your business?

The greatest way the Round Rock community can support Homestead Estate Lawyers is by helping us spread awareness about the importance of estate planning and probate education. Too many families are unaware of their options until they are facing a crisis, and a simple conversation or referral to one of our free educational seminars can make a lasting difference.

We love partnering with nonprofits, churches, schools, senior living communities, real estate professionals, financial advisors, employers, and civic organizations. To schedule a free educational presentation or workshop, contact us at info@getawilltx.com or 512-766-4529 and ask for our community outreach team.

Anything else you would like the community to know?
