Outside the Rock: 2025 July 4th Celebrations

Looking to catch even more fireworks this 4th of July? We’ve put together a list of great spots Outside the Rock where you can enjoy some truly spectacular shows.

Pflugerville – Pfireworks + Red, White & Boom
Friday, July 4th, 9pm
STILL ON! Road Closure Change for fireworks. Due to the rain, the fireworks location & road impacts have changed. Pfluger Farm Lane will close between Kingston Lacy Blvd & Rauscher Drive, beginning at 6:30 pm. E. Pflugerville Parkway will remain open. The City’s fireworks will now be launched from Pfluger Farm Lane at approximately 9 pm. Police will be on-site throughout the event.

Georgetown – Sertoma Club July 4th Celebration & Fireworks
Friday, July 4th, 11am to 9:30pm
July 4th 2:30 p.m. update: Electricity to the park is being shut off, and vendors have discretion whether to stay.
Fireworks are still on.

Celebrate Independence Day at Georgetown’s 42nd Annual Sertoma July 4th Celebration in San Gabriel Park. Enjoy a full day of live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, amusement rides, and a patriotic kiddie parade. The festivities end with a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m., and admission is free for all!
Taylor’s 4th of July Celebration
Friday, July 4th, 11am to 9:30pm
Fireworks are happening as long as there is no lightning.
Taylor’s 4th of July celebration starts with a 9 a.m. parade from 7th and Davis to Murphy Park, followed by a 10 a.m. Ice Cream Social at the American Legion Hall. At 4 p.m., Dale Watson’s American Legion Picnic kicks off with live music, and the night wraps up with fireworks at dusk over Murphy Park.

Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic and Fireworks

Willie Nelson & Family is bringing his 4th of July Picnic and Fireworks BACK to Austin at Germania Insurance Amphitheater with Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers & more!
Austin – Star Spangled Fest
Friday, July 4th, 4:30pm to 9:30pm
Canceled due to deteriorating weather conditions. There will be no make-up date for this event or fireworks.
At Austin’s Star Spangled Fest, enjoy live entertainment starting at 5 PM, including a special concert by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, and indulge in delicious eats from Austin’s best food trucks.
With tons of options for things to do, you can take part in the taco-eating contest, explore Vic Mathias Shores for family-friendly activities like yard games and sponsored fun, check out the market vendors, and refresh yourself at the watering holes!

Bastrop’s Annual Big Bang! Celebration
Saturday, June 28th, 8am to 9:30pm

Spending the 4th in Bastrop? Don’t be surprised if the big celebration isn’t on the 4th itself. Bastrop does things differently—with its Big Bang! Celebration on the Saturday before.
This all-day community event on June 28 brings fun, music, activities, and fireworks to Downtown Bastrop and Fisherman’s Park.
Liberty Hill – Independence Day Spectacular

Celebrate freedom the fun way at Liberty Hill’s Independence Day Spectacular on July 3rd!
From pie contests and watermelon seed spitting to live music, snowball fights, and a grand fireworks finale—there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Join the community at Liberty Hill Middle School for an evening full of patriotic fun!
Leander – Liberty Fest
Thursday, July 3rd, 6pm to 10pm – CANCELED
Canceled due to deteriorating weather conditions. There will be no make-up date for this event or fireworks.
Celebrate the 4th at Liberty Fest in Leander! Head to Devine Lake Park for live music, food, kids’ activities, and one of the area’s best fireworks shows. Admission is free—no pre-registration required!

Wells Branch – FourthFest Parade & Fireworks
Friday, July 4th, 10am to 9:30pm
Canceled due to deteriorating weather conditions. There will be no make-up date for this event or fireworks.

Show your patriotic pride at Wells Branch’s FourthFest Parade from 10–10:30 a.m.—line the streets, wave your flags, and cheer on festive floats!
After the parade, enjoy free watermelon, family activities, a cornhole tournament, and local vendors. The fun picks up again with a fireworks show at 9pm.
Cedar Park – Cedar Sparktacular
Friday, July 4th, 5pm to 11:30pm
Canceled due to deteriorating weather conditions. There will be no make-up date for this event or fireworks.

Celebrate the 4th of July in Cedar Park with one of the city’s biggest events of the year- Cedar Sparktacular!
Enjoy live music, carnival rides, inflatables, food vendors, a stunning fireworks show, and a movie in the park right after the fireworks.
Hutto – American Rhapsody
Friday, July 4th, 6pm to 9:30pm
