Our Round the Rock team loves celebrating holidays—especially in our hometown!

For Independence Day, we’re in! From cheering on the parade to soaking up the fun at local festivals and getting a little misty-eyed during the fireworks show, there’s just something special about Independence Day in our community. Here’s your guide to all the 4th of July celebrations happening in Round Rock!


Round Rock 4th of July Parade
Friday, July 4th, 8:30 AM

Round Rock knows how to celebrate Independence Day!  We celebrate with a full day of patriotic festivities, including a parade, festival, carnival, music, and fireworks. 

The Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade will once again feature giant helium and cold air inflatables, community groups, and patriotic spirit. This parade will take place on the 1.5-mile route along Mays Street between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The parade will start at 8:30 am to beat the heat, so arrive early to find the best seat to watch and celebrate! Details and the full schedule can be found here.


Brushy Creek 4th of July Parade & Festival
Friday, July 4th, 9 AM – 11:30 AM

Celebrate Independence Day with your Brushy Creek neighbors at Cat Hollow Park! Join the parade or enjoy watching the colorful floats and walkers pass by! Awards are given for the most patriotic parade participants. The festival includes food vendors and activities for all ages. Including everyone’s favorite “spray down” from the Sam Bass Fire Department truck! Learn more here


Frontier Days Festival
Friday, July 4th, 12 PM

Part of the Round Rock celebration, the Frontier Days Festival includes pig races, cowboy sing-alongs, a pepper-eating contest, special performances, free ice cream, live music, and fireworks! It starts at 12 pm in Old Settlers Park.


Kalahari KABOOM!
Friday, July 4th, 5 PM – 10 PM

Kalahari KABOOM! is the ultimate way to celebrate America’s birthday. This is one of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions’ signature events filled with fireworks, live DJ, a bounce house park, face painters, balloon artists, delicious food & drinks, and more!

Pre-pay for parking now to get access to the best fireworks show in town! Please note that event parking opens at 4 pm. Our Kalahari KABOOM event starts at 5 pm. The Parking Pass guarantees you onsite parking, a fireworks show, and live entertainment. Limited parking spots are available for the evening. Prepay $30 for one pass per vehicle. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE A PASS PER PERSON.


Round Rock Express Red, White & Blue Weekend
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Since Independence Day falls on a Friday this year, Dell Diamond and the Round Rock Express are celebrating all weekend long!

Friday, July 4th, 7:15 PM Gametime – Bud Light Friday Fireworks will fill the Round Rock sky as the Express celebrates America’s birthday with a post-game pyrotechnic extravaganza. Fans are encouraged to stick around following the fireworks to run the bases on the field and enjoy live music, free of charge, in the Intel Club.

Saturday, July 5th, 7:15 PM Gametime – The celebration will continue into Saturday as Super Series presents another illuminating firework spectacular, thanks to United Heritage Credit Union.

Sunday, July 6th, 6:05 PM Gametime – Weekend festivities will conclude with a holiday picnic special at the ballpark. For $25, fans receive a reserved ticket to the game, along with access to the picnic area where they can enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon, and other refreshments. Free inflatables and train rides for children outside the ballpark before the game (presented by H-E-B), and kids can run the bases after the game.
