America’s 250th! 2026 July 4th Celebrations ‘Round the Rock
Our Round the Rock team loves celebrating holidays—especially in our hometown!
For Independence Day, we’re all in! And 2026 isn’t just any Fourth — it’s America’s 250th birthday, the Semiquincentennial. A milestone this big only comes around once, and Round Rock is marking it the way we do best: a hometown parade, festivals, live music, and fireworks that’ll get you a little misty-eyed. Here’s your guide to every 4th of July celebration happening in Round Rock in 2026.
Know Before You Go
- Arrive early. The parade steps off at 8:30 a.m.—claim your spot along Mays Street early to beat the heat and the crowds.
- Beat the Texas heat. Bring water, sunscreen, hats, and a handheld fan, and dress light.
- Bring seating. Pack camp chairs or a blanket for both the parade and the evening fireworks.
- Plan parking & your route. Expect road closures along the parade route—arrive with a parking plan.
- Best fireworks view. The City show lights up Old Settlers Park at dark (around 9:30 p.m.).
- Bring a little cash. Handy for carnival rides, vendors, and food booths.
- Maybe leave pets home. Heat, crowds, and fireworks can be a lot for furry friends.
- Plan your exit. Expect heavy traffic right after the fireworks—give yourself extra time.
