Round Rock’s 2025 July 4th Celebration

Round Rock, Texas, knows how to celebrate Independence Day!  We will celebrate Friday, July 4th, with a full day of patriotic festivities, including a parade, festival, carnival, music, and fireworks. 


The Round Rock July 4th Parade and Frontier Days Festival are a community favorite! In 2024, the parade won First Place for Best Annual Event in the Best of Round Rock community awards.

Sertoma Independence Day Parade 8:30 am

The 2024 Annual Sertoma Independence Day Parade is bigger and better than ever and will once again feature giant helium and cold air inflatables, community groups, and patriotic spirit.  The parade takes place on the ~1.2-mile route along Mays Street between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The fun starts at 8:30am to beat the heat, so arrive early to find the best seat to watch and celebrate!

Frontier Days Festival at Old Settlers Park 12 pm

Hip Hip Hurray! U.S. of YAY! The celebration continues at Old Settlers Park for patriotic fun and festivities, including carnival rides, entertainment, live music, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, a Pepper-Eating Contest, vendors, and more! Keep Calm and Sparkle On with a fantastic fireworks show at dusk!

With the construction at Old Settlers Park, the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department has released this video to help you navigate access and parking for this year’s Frontier Days Festival.


Frontier Days Festival 2025: Calling All Volunteers, Teens, Troops, and Groups!

We need your help on July 4th! The Volunteer Center is looking for families and teens of all ages to assist with Vendor Check-In, Ice Sales and Distribution for Vendors, Managing the Pepper-Eating Contest, the Info Booth, and Lost and Found.

Available Shifts:
8:00 am to 11:00 am
11:00 am to 2:00 pm
2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (this shift will help with the pepper-eating contest, which is always a lot of fun!!).

*Due to construction, the Frontier Days Festival will be on the other side of the lake, just off Aten Loop. I will send a preliminary map of the area as soon as I am given one. It will be smaller than in previous years with fewer vendors.
