Local Female Austin Entrepreneur Brings Futuristic Twist to Family Fun

Zoocade, the first-of-its-kind technology and experience in the United States, is now open in Austin. The ultimate hologram zoo and arcade, brought to life in partnership with Axiom Holographics, is where technology meets entertainment.

Previously only available in Australia, China and Canada, Austinites now have the opportunity to experience the future of entertainment and holograms right in their own backyard with America’s first holographic zoo. Zoocade redefines family fun with award-winning holographic technology that provides lifelike animal encounters, unique holographic photos, adventure rooms, an arcade and more. In fact, the holographic technology behind the Zoocade experience is so revolutionary that it was named one of the prestigious Best Inventions of 2023 by TIME Magazine.

Put on 3D glasses and step inside Zoocade’s 60-foot+ holographic tunnel, where the animal-themed content is constantly changing. Smaller groups of 4-5 can step inside 200-square-foot holographic rooms for an up-close and personal experience with the animals. Accompanied by 30 arcade games, Zoocade is the ideal place for kids and families to experience a whole new world and explore together. Zoocade also hosts birthday parties, class parties, and private events.

Zoocade will be open all weekend, including on Presidents’ Day, with special hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.), giving families the first chance to experience this new attraction.

Zoocade is brought to life by Austin local and female entrepreneur, Reva Enzminger. Enzminger learned about the holographic technology in April 2024 and promptly jumped on an airplane to Australia to experience it for herself. She was amazed by its capabilities and instantly knew Austin was the perfect market to open the nation’s first holographic zoo. In only nine months, Enzminger has brought that vision to life.

“From the minute I stepped inside the holographic tunnel in Australia and heard the shrieks of joy, I knew Zoocade would be a hit in Austin,” said Enzminger, founder of Zoocade. “Holographic technology and Zoocade is the future of family-friendly entertainment, and I’m thrilled to be the first to offer this in the United States.”

Looking ahead, families from all around the region can incorporate Zoocade into their Spring Break plans, as Zoocade will operate special hours from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. every day from March 10-21, 2025 for the perfect, family-friendly vacation destination.
