Sip & Shop Fundraiser Aims to Raise $50,000 for Meals on Wheels
Georgetown, TX, April 2026 – Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties (OWBC), the local Community Action Agency for the two-county area is hosting its 8th Annual Sip & Shop fundraiser on Friday, May 16, 2026, from 11am–2pm. The event aims to raise $50,000 in support of Meals on Wheels for Williamson & Burnet Counties, one of OWBC’s vital programs serving local seniors.
Sip & Shop is a fashion-forward fundraiser that includes a luncheon, wine and beer tastings, an interactive fashion show featuring local boutiques, and a pop-up boutique shopping experience. Local boutiques will participate in the fashion show and dress models, creating a meaningful and engaging highlight of the event. Pop-up boutiques will also be on site, offering women’s fashion apparel and accessories, jewelry, salon services, and more.
OWBC is currently seeking vendors and sponsors to participate in this year’s event. Businesses interested in joining the event can register online. Additionally, OWBC is inviting bakeries to donate desserts for a live dessert auction, as well as wineries and breweries to participate by selling by the bottle or glass on the patio.
Proceeds from Sip & Shop directly support Meals on Wheels, helping provide nutritious meals, safety checks, and companionship to 1,300 seniors across Williamson and Burnet Counties. With community support, OWBC continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of those they serve.
