Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest | October 24-31, 2017


The Round Rock Public Library hosts a Pumpkin Decorating Contest that begins on Tuesday, October 24 and lasts through Tuesday, October 31, 2017.


Decorate a pumpkin (or gourd) as a book character or with a literary theme and drop it off at the Round Rock Public Library for display from Oct. 24 – Oct. 31.

Library staff will vote for the vote for the best literary pumpkin on Oct. 31. The winner will receive a Barnes & Noble Gift Card!

The library cannot accept carved pumpkin submissions. Only painted and/or decorated whole pumpkin submissions may be entered into the contest.  Contest submissions must be turned into library staff by Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at noon. Late pumpkin submissions will not be accepted.

One winner will be chosen from each of the following age categories: Kids (ages 7 and under), Tweens (ages 8-12), and Teens (ages 13-18).
