Kids and teens facing food scarcity during the summer months are welcome to enjoy a free, nutritious meal at the Library Friday afternoons. Come to the Round Rock Public Library‘s Meeting Room A, 12 – 1 pm, any Friday from June 14, 2019 – August 2, 2019.

The Library will try to meet anticipated demand for lunches. Lunches will be distributed first come, first served, to children ages 0 – 18 until all meals are gone. There is no enrollment, no proof of need required, and no cost for this program.

Summer lunches at the Library are provided by a partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank and the Texas Department of Agriculture to fill a nutrition gap families may face when schools are closed. Don’t let our neighborhood kids go hungry; if you are aware of families experiencing a nutrition gap this summer, please share this information with them.
