2024 Volunteer Opportunity: Education Connection
Who We Are
At Education Connection, our Mission is simple, straightforward, and achievable…every child reading by the end of 3rd grade.
The Opportunity
Our volunteers make an impact by reading with elementary students each week for 15 minutes per student, totaling 30 minutes. This commitment remains consistent with the same day, time, and students throughout the school year, typically from September to May. You choose the school, day, and time that works best for you. What We Do
Literacy isn’t a problem; illiteracy is! Join us as we combat childhood illiteracy, one of the largest problems in the Greater Austin area, by empowering volunteers to read with students one-on-one and supporting educators as they help children learn and grow.
