Pizza Rev “Pay What you Want” Pizza Fundraiser for Scott & White Healthcare Foundation – July 9, 2015
Round Rock’s PizzaRev invites guests to “pay-what-they-want” for a custom-built, personal-sized pizza on Thursday, July 9, 2015. The “Pizzas for a Purpose” fundraising event at 200 University Blvd. (at University Commons) proceeds will benefit The Scott & White Healthcare Foundation; an $8 donation per pizza is suggested.
“We are passionate supporters of the people and organizations that serve our communities, and Scott & White Healthcare Foundation has helped countless patients and families throughout Central Texas,” said Heather Schlichting, General Manager of PizzaRev – Round Rock. “We’re proud to support an organization that provides top-notch medical services and programs to area residents.”
PizzaRev is a “Craft Your Own” pizza concept offering fully customized personal-sized 11” pizzas. Guests choose from homemade dough, sauces, cheeses, and more than 30 fresh toppings. Each pizza is assembled before your eyes and then fired up in a 900 degree, stone oven. The thin and crispy Roman-style pizza is ready in just three minutes!
“The donations from the PizzaRev – Round Rock Pay What You Want fundraiser will help provide cancer patients and their families needed access to comprehensive, leading-edge services close to home and work. The fight against cancer is an extended journey, not a moment in time. With so many of our neighbors living with cancer or someone afflicted with it, enhanced diagnosis, treatment and support services are needed right here in Round Rock. Baylor Scott & White’s tremendous advances in outpatient techniques mean that patients can continue to work, attend school and enjoy daily activities while they receive life-saving cancer treatment here in Round Rock,” said Jay Fox, President, Baylor Scott & White – Austin/Round Rock Region.
