Slick City Action Park Is Coming to Round Rock
Round Rock families, get ready to slide into something new. Slick City Action Park — an indoor amusement park built around a maze of slides — is officially coming to the east side of town, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s headed our way.
What’s coming to Round Rock
The new park is planned for 701 N. Red Bud Ln. in the Old Settlers Park area on Round Rock’s east side. At roughly 44,602 square feet, it’ll be a big indoor space packed with slides and action-packed attractions — plus plenty of room for birthday parties and group outings.
If you haven’t run into Slick City before, here’s the gist: the company bills itself as the world’s first indoor slide park. Locations are known for a mix of indoor slides for all ages, and depending on the park, can include attractions like laser tag, bumper cars, climbing structures, arcades, and a cafe to refuel. In other words — a rainy-day, too-hot-to-be-outside, need-to-burn-some-energy kind of place. (Round Rock summers, we’re looking at you.)
A local family is bringing it here
The Round Rock location will be owned and operated by Mike and Annie Kelly of Kelly Strategic Ventures — local franchisees bringing the Slick City experience to our community. We always love seeing new family-friendly spots open here, and we’ll be following along as plans come together.
When does Slick City Round Rock open?
According to Slick City’s website, the Round Rock park is expected to open in November 2026. As with any new build, that timeline could shift — so we’ll update this post if the date changes, and once we learn more about hours and which attractions the Round Rock location will feature. In the meantime, you can learn more about the Slick City concept on their official website.
Have a tip about a new business coming to Round Rock? We’d love to hear it. Until then — see ya ‘Round the Rock!
