Round Rock ISD to Remain Closed for the Rest of the School Year
Around noon on Friday, April 17, 2020, Round Rock ISD parents received an email confirming their suspicions that the school would remain closed for the rest of the school year.

In the best interest of the health and safety of our students and staff, and in accordance with direction provided by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Round Rock ISD schools and offices will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019 -2020 school year.
Parents, guardians, staff and community members are encouraged to visit www.roundrockisd.org, the RRISD Twitter account @RoundRockISD or Facebook.com/RRISD for updates and additional information. The District may communicate directly through voice messaging, when necessary, to parents, staff and community members registered to receive messaging if any significant additional changes occur.
In accordance with Governor Abbott’s mandate that all Texas Schools would remain closed for the school year, Round Rock ISD was quick to get the word out.
