6 Fall Farms in Central Texas Worth the Drive-to!
Fall is soon here and in Central Texas that (hopefully) means cooler weather. And nothing gets you more in the mood for fall than a fun day at the farm. There are lots of fall farms in Central Texas that you can visit a pumpkin patch, go on a hay ride, pet some farm animals, and get lost in a corn maze. And many of them are less than an hours’ drive from Round Rock!

Sweet Berry Farm (Marble Falls)
Open September 18th – November 7th
Sweet Berry Farm is located in Marble Falls and offers “Harvest of Fall Fun” with hayrides, train rides, berry bounce, pumpkin painting and lots of photo opportunities. New this year will be the Barnyard Maze in addition to the Candy Corn Kid Maze and Texas Adult Maze.

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm (Elgin)
Open October 2-31
Elgin Christmas Tree Farm is located in Elgin and offers both weekday & weekend Fall Fun for the whole family. The Farm has animals to visit, hay rides, train rides, mazes, duck races, and more. There will be plenty of pumpkins for photo opportunities but none for sale this year. They welcome you to bring your own picnic.

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm (Georgetown)
Open 7 Days a Week
Sweet Eats Farm is a pick-your-own fruit farm in Georgetown that also hosts fun farm activities from Pony Rides and Pig Races to their Hay Maze & Giant Petting Zoo. Come, pick fruit and only pay for what you pick, or stay for all the fun farm activities and enjoy unlimited access to all the farm fun. This Fall, they are teaming up with The Daytripper to create a fun themed hay maze!

Barton Hill Farms (Bastrop)
Open Weekends September 25th – November 7th
Barton Hill Farms is a beautiful fall farm located on the banks of the Colorado River near Bastrop. The Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch is open on weekends only and offers lots of fun – a pumpkin patch, 5-acre corn maze, frontier games, jumping pillow, live music and more.

Evergreen Farms (Elgin)
October 3- November 1
Evergreen Farms will host the Pumpkin Hunt which includes a wagon ride into the Christmas tree fields to locate mini pumpkins that are hidden in the trees. After the Hunt, enjoy pumpkin decorating on the pavilion along with great concessions at the concessions stand and other activities and games.

Crow’s Nest Farm (Manor)
Open Saturdays in October or by Private Tour
Located in Manor, Crowe’s Nest Farm is a 100-acre working farm filled with hundreds of domestic farm animals and Texas wildlife, gardens, and educational exhibits. Every October, Crowe’s Nest Farm hosts Saturday Fall Family Fun Days that are open to the general public with animal shows, hay rides, pumpkins, and more.
