Friday, September 17, 2021: Family Campout

The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department presents the Family Campout on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 through Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at Old Settlers Park. Spend the night in Old Settlers Park!  You’ll pop your tent around the Lakeview Pavilion, eat dinner, have fun, play games, sit around the campfire eating s’mores, watch a movie in the park and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy breakfast, and then check out the Outdoor Expo. Registration is required.

Saturday, September 18, 2021: Farmers Market

Round Rock Farmer’s Market is on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 201 University Blvd. Bringing the best Texas has to offer! Beautiful produce, grass-fed beef, naturally -raised pork, free-range eggs, artisan goods, and so much more!

Central Texas car fans can enjoy the Downtown Round Rock Car Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every third Sunday of the month in Centennial Plaza.  Event is rain or shine. No registration is necessary.

Kalahari’s family friendly outdoor venue, Amatuli, hosts a Farmers Market every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Live performances, shopping, cocktails, and kids activities. Admission and parking are free! 3001 Kalahari Blvd, Round Rock. Facebook event page.

Wednesday, September 22, 2021: Outdoor Story Time

Outdoor Storytime for kids from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Round Rock Public Library invites toddlers and preschoolers (and their grownups) to a small, outdoor storytime in Centennial Plaza. Attendees must pre-register. Registration opens at 10 a.m. one week beforehand. Please reserve one ticket per family group.

Wednesday, September 22, 2021: Music on Main

The City of Round Rock brings you Music on Main Street, a free music series on the Prete Main Street Plaza stage, 221 E. Main Street. from 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays from September 15 -November 10, 2021. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family.

Thursday, September 23, 2021: Pints & Pups at Round Rock Express

Dogs are invited to various Thursday home games throughout the season for Pints & Pups. Go here for more information. Game Highlight: Oktoberfest! Off the Grid polka band will play live in Bullpen Bar by Dripping Springs Vodka from 6 – 8 p.m. and fans can grab complimentary Express beer pints/steins in Bullpen Bar, while supplies last.

Join the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department for the FREE “Friday Fun Nights” at Yonders Point at Old Settlers Park. Bring the entire family and enjoy fun themed activities on select Friday nights. Friday, September 24, 2021 from 6-9 p.m. Picnic and Star Gazing Party featuring refreshments, bring your own picnic to enjoy, telescope viewings, and astronomy education.

The Express will light up your Friday night with an amazing postgame fireworks show on Fridays during home games. On September 24, 2021 at 7:05 p.m. the Round Rock Express will play Tacoma.

Saturday, September 25, 2021: Round Rock Public Safety Day

Join Round Rock Police, Fire, and Wilco EMS for a chance to meet local first responders and see the vehicles and equipment they use to respond to local emergencies on September 25, 2021 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. This free family event provides a chance to check out public safety vehicles. Kids of all ages can enjoy games, face painting, a photo booth, and more. Centennial Plaza, 301 West Bagdad, Round Rock

Sunday, September 26, 2021: Kids Day at the Ballpark

Children can enjoy free train rides outside the ballpark before every Sunday home game and run the bases post game. The Round Rock Express will play the Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners) on Sunday, September 12, 2021. The game starts at 6:05 p.m. Dell Diamond, 3400 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock.
