Amplify Wilco Day Encourages Residents to Support Williamson County Nonprofits
Give back for 24 hours on March 5-6 at AmplifyWilco.org
Amplify Wilco Day is back! In its inaugural year, the Williamson County community came together to raise $1 Million in 2024 for the local nonprofits that do so much good for us. We’re ready to do it again!
Amplify Wilco Day is a hyper-local campaign occurring alongside Amplify Austin Day to promote the important missions of Williamson County-serving nonprofits. Hosted by I Live Here I Give Here, Amplify Austin Day has raised $112.7 Million for 1,507 Central Texas nonprofits since 2013, changing the way Central Texans think about giving back locally.
For Amplify Wilco Day and Amplify Austin Day 2025, the initiative has a goal of raising $10 Million collectively for more 750+ nonprofits across its seven-county region.
This year, more than 72 nonprofits from Williamson County are participating. These nonprofits include Friends of Round Rock Public Library, Penfold Theatre Company, Ride on Center for Kids (ROCK), Round Rock Area Serving Center, and many more. The online Amplify events aim to ensure every nonprofit receives a donation through the platforms AmplifyWilco.org and AmplifyATX.org.

During the event, residents from Travis, Williamson, Hays, Burnet, Bastrop, Caldwell and Blanco counties can make a gift of $5 or more across 19 cause categories that are near and dear to their heart, including Animals, Arts, Basic Needs, Children, Veterans and more. This year, there is a new category: Disability Services. Plus, gifts can be matched and impacts can be increased when giving to a nonprofit with Amplify Wilco Day matching incentives. Givers can choose up to 10 nonprofits to donate to in a single transaction. When residents give, it’s their vote of support for what they want to see more of in their community – and for a more prosperous and united future.
Just $5 makes a difference. We know there is a nonprofit mission that resonates for you. Why do you give?
How can you support Amplify Wilco Day?
If residents feel called to become even more involved, they can become an Amplify Wilco Day Fundraising Champion. Fundraising Champions invite friends, family and neighbors to their fundraising page, and are also given tools and training materials to increase their fundraising opportunities while maximizing their efforts. On average, Fundraising Champions help raise three times more for nonprofits during Amplify Wilco Day than other participants.
Businesses are also able to participate as Business Fundraisers, encouraging their employees to participate. This is a free opportunity for local businesses or local corporate offices to partake, empowering staff to donate to any participating nonprofit. Businesses compete to be the “most generous” company in Central Texas, while Austin’s Cirrus Logic has taken the title for six consecutive years. Companies should register to participate by February 26.
If you like to give back while out, dozens of Williamson County nonprofits are teaming up for a kick-off event in Georgetown on March 5 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Amplify Wilco Day on the Georgetown Square brings together local businesses and nonprofits so you can learn about the organizations that serve your community while dining and shopping.
