Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock
Bass Pro Shops is finally here in Round Rock. They opened last night, June 10, 2015 with a grand ceremony & ribbon cutting. We were there, with many other brave Round Rockers, to see what Bass Pro Shops brings to the area. Here’s a peek:
A nice crowd came out to welcome the newest store to Round Rock.
Make sure you check out the fish tank along the back wall when you visit – fun for kids to see how big it is. In other Bass Pro Shops, they have a scheduled tank feeding time. I haven’t found that info for this store yet, but will let y’all know when I find it.
They have a nice pet’s section and we happened to see a few furry friends shopping last night.
Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill
Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill is a bowling center, birthday party/special event facility and restaurant located in Bass Pro Shops. It’s described as a place for families to “eat, bowl, and make wonderful memories.” And you have to admit, the theming is pretty cool.
The bowling lanes are pretty cool – with underwater effects and sea animals as the ball retrievers.

Prices are by the hour or if there are only a few of you, by the half hour.
The Grill serves burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and fish. And there looks to be a decent amount of seating.
