KMFA 98.5 FM will be hosting the opening concert of Classical Sound’s 2022-2023 Season in the Draylen Mason Music Studio in their fabulous new facility located at 41 Navasota Street, Austin 78702

San Gabriel Presbyterian Church will be hosting a repeat of this concert on Sunday afternoon at 5404 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78633.
Entitled “Double, Bass Extravaganza” to honor the memory of young bass player, Draylen Mason, this exciting program will feature the seldom performed Sextet for violin, two violas, cello, double bass, and piano by Felix Mendelssohn, and the ever popular “Trout” Quintet of Franz Schubert. Featured performers are: Guest violinist, Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, pianist, Toby Blumenthal, and principal players of the Austin Symphony Orchestra: Jonathan Rouse double bass, Douglas Harvey-cello, Bruce Williams and Blake Turner-violas.
