Connecting Round Rock: Dads Who Get It Done – Combes

Meet Bill Combes

Tell us about your family.
I am married to Ileana. She is a Kinder teacher in Pflugerville. She also has her own small business, which I help her with, selling ancient runes on Etsy. We have a son, Alex, who is an engineering student at Texas A&M, and Billy, who will be in 9th grade at Stony Point in the fall. He is an avid basketball player.

What would be your ideal way to spend Father’s Day?
Family time out eating.

Tell us about your business
No Time for Social is a digital marketing agency. 10+ years in the business now. We help businesses with no time for social media or the budget hire a full-time marketing person.

What’s your favorite part about your business?
Helping our clients navigate the insanity of Facebook and Facebook ads. It is a very difficult process if you do not know what you are doing. I use my wisdom of being on the platform for 15+ years to help others.

What is one challenge with your business?
Growth and getting new clients. Even if we charge less than 1/2 the amount of the full-time employee, budgets are tight.

How does your business give back to the community?
We donate to various organizations, such as Hope Alliance, the YMCA, Annunciation Maternity Home, and the Central Texas Community Foundation. We also sponsor various events for the Round Rock Chamber. I am on the board of the Chasco YMCA and the Round Rock Chamber.

How can Round Rock (and the surrounding areas) support your business?
Spread the word that we are a resource that is available. Whether you need help managing all of your digital assets full-time or have issues with Facebook ads, we have many ways to work with you.
