Dog Days at Bass Pro Shops | April 27, 2019
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s are fetching fun activities and free goodies for four-legged family members at its annual Dog Days event on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. A fan favorite for years, Dog Days offers free photos, demonstrations, activities, and access to pet care professionals for canine health and wellness checks. All breeds, from lap dogs to hunting dogs, are invited to attend.
Dog Days activities offered Saturday, April 27 include:
11 a.m. – Free gift bag to the first 100 dogs attending Dog Days
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Free family dog photos
Share your dog family photo on social media and tag Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s using #DogDays
First 25 dogs to have their photo taken will receive a free Pork Chomps treat (a food scoop or tennis ball to the first 20 dogs at Canada store locations)
Free demonstrations on a variety of topics from dog training to dog health and wellness (check store schedule for demonstrations, seminars and activities)
In addition, owners and their pets attending the event have the opportunity to win prizes including a grand prize that features a Ruff Tough Dog Kennel, Ducks Unlimited Pet Crate Cushion, Mud River Ducks Unlimited Uninsulated Dog Kennel Cover and a SportDOG YT-100 Yard Trainer. Five first place winners will receive the SportDOG YT-100 Yard Trainer and six second place winners will get the D.T. Systems Bark BOSS No-Bark Dog Training System.
Pets visiting participating stores need to be up-to-date on all vaccines, pet and child-friendly and on a close leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior.
