Penfold Theatre: Bluebonnet Road

“Bluebonnet Road” is an original musical comedy set in 1979 near Austin, Texas about a woman, her two sons and her younger son’s girlfriend on a trip to spread the ashes the woman’s father over the old family farm now underwater since the nearby river was dammed. They are caught on an island in the river as the water rises and they deal with personal issues. Tickets go on sale Thursday, 5/1.
