Fight Like a Girl 5K | September 27, 2015
The Fight Like a Girl 5K will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Old Settler’s Park. Race begins at 8:30 am.
This race was created by Round Rockers in honor of a former RRISD Librarian who passed away after a battle with melanoma at the age of 30. Proceeds of the race go to The Cancer Connection HOPE Fund, a fund dedicated to providing grants to eligible patients and their families who are experiencing financial hardships as a result of a cancer diagnosis. The HOPE Fund has helped hundreds of central Texas families who are struggling to pay their bills, buy groceries, or receive the crucial prescriptions necessary to continue their battle against cancer.
